Midnight at the Electric – REVIEW

Hello “peoples” of this earth … if that’s indeed what you are! Today I have a book for you that I adored (which really means that you should be worried!) I ALMOST LITERALLY FIGURATIVELY CRIED. (Hey – I’ve been reading Unfortuate Events. I’m confused with definitions. WHERE’S SNICKET?!?!)

Anyways, this is a lovely, bittersweet historical novel taking place over three different time lines, though they all connect beautifully.

This is, though, written in a different way than my norm (you know, split up into different review sections, and instead is more of an overview and kinda just my favorite parts – ‘specially since there isn’t much that I don’t like. Enjoy and comment and donate a million dollars, please and thank you! Continue reading “Midnight at the Electric – REVIEW”

I accidentally hated a book ~ Review

So I technically didn’t HATE this book … it just made it sound more dramatic. 😉 And I had to get you to read it somehow, right???

Anyways. Today I’m reviewing the first book in the Unwind Dystology, which is Unwind. This is all written by Neal Shusterman.

BTW, I’m writing this at, like, 1 something and I’m not a night person (I just proved my point by leaving person as just “person” without the night … oops).

Enjoy! Continue reading “I accidentally hated a book ~ Review”

Illusionarium – Heather Dixon (one of my now-favorite authors!)

Guys, I read an audiobook. Er, listened to one. And the reader was British (or just had an accent…). And amazingness. This book is glorious.

It is Illusionarium by Heather Dixon. Miss Dixon has only written two books, but I’ve loved them both, and now I can officially say that she is one of my favorite authors! 🙂 Continue reading “Illusionarium – Heather Dixon (one of my now-favorite authors!)”

Nightmare, oh Nightmare

We’re back TO BRYAN DAVIS. Yeah, I’m sure that you’re all loving this. 😉 (If you have no idea what I’m talking about, look at some of my previous posts where practically every week was a BD book.)

This weeks is the final book in the Echoes from the Edge trilogy, and it is called Nightmare’s Edge, and, obviously, it’s written by Bryan Davis.

You can find my reviews for the first two books here and here.

*note:

So, sorry I didn’t have a post yesterday! But I’m really ticked at WordPress, ’cause I had a post scheduled for two weeks ago, and yesterday it told me that it didn’t post ’til yesterday. And NOW it’s telling me that it actually posted when it was suppose to. Gah! Anyways, we’ll just pretend that today is a Tuesday. 😉 Continue reading “Nightmare, oh Nightmare”
