The Problem With Indie Books

peeps1

Guys, I couldn’t help it. It was just Easter season!

Hey, peeps!!!

I KNOW that last week I hinted at a book that I was going to review … but it’s not happening, plain and simple (like yogurt should be, am I right???). Bam. I’m actually switching up the schedule for this and next week, since it is … another blog tour! Yes, I KNOW. Y’all are probably still sick of them from last year, but it’s still happening. And guess what??? It won’t even SEEM like a blog tour, not really. ūüėČ

Next week I’ll be reviewing the book, and this week I’m doing a discussion post (yes, Simi, I’m stealing from you ūüėČ ) on Indie books.

Oh, wait, what are you¬†saying (no, not you, Smeagol … or are you Gollum??),¬†peeps? I haven’t told you the book yet? Oh, how awful of me!

Fine, I’ll tell you! (Buuuuut, I may cry.) It is the fourth and final book in The Blades of Acktar, which is Deliver. This lovely series is written by the lovely (and no, I’m not biased … just because she’s one of my favorites) author, Tricia Mingerink!!! Yeah, cue the tears.

Anyways, let’s get going, shall we??? Continue reading

Espionage

Hello! Shocked to see me? *basks in your awestruck wonder* Ahem. Anyways. Yes, I know that I just posted yesterday, BUT silly me messed up with, um, something and got a little ahead of myself and didn’t check the dates. So, I am now posting today. And there will be nothing this coming Tues. Okay? Okay.

So, that aside, I’m going to be reviewing a book called¬†Espionage¬†by Morgan Huneke. And this is a companion to the book series (though I’m tagging it as one and the same)¬†Time Captives.

My review for the first book in the series is here, and my review for the second one (on my other blog) is right here (and no, no it did not take forever to find that post because I insisted of searching through all of my posts instead of just using the search thing at the bottom. Ahaha, no. Nope.).

Oh, and, also! (I forgot¬†almost forgot to mention this!) I’m apart of the¬†Espionage¬†blog tour (which I think that I’ve mentioned), and you can find the rest of the blog tour and their interviews/reviews/character spotlights/etc. here. Continue reading

Review- And interview- And giveaway- Basically awesomeness!!! (Don’t skip this post, in other words. Just. don’t.)

And bringing up the end to our four weeks of¬†Ilyon ( ūüė• ), is book 3 in the¬†Ilyon Chronicles¬†by Jaye L. Knight:¬†Samara’s Peril!

This is gonna be a longer post, because I am lucky enough to be apart of the blog tour, so there’s blog tour stuff, along with ………………………… AN INTEREVIEW WITH JAYE!!! Yay! ūüėÄ Which, you can find the rest of the¬†tour here.

(My first three reviews are here, here, and here.) Continue reading

Make sure to check out the blog tour and the book here: like, right here (kudos to you, if you got the movie that that reference was loosely based on). Now, onto the interview! Continue reading
